About Its Raining Mins Cattery

I got my first long-legged male Minuet for Christmas 2018 from my lifelong family friend and second mother. She was retiring and she gave me her last kitten. I had bred Ragdolls before Hurricane Katrina hit us and I missed the joy of having kittens around, so I decided to try this new and interesting breed. It has been challenging, learning about this breed and all the ups and downs, but I have absolutely fallen in love with these Minuets. They are adorable and so sweet and just the cutest little lovebugs ever.


Waiting list: Yes. I will add you to a waiting list for a specific color or gender but no guarantees that we will be able to produce them at any particular time

Paid waiting list: Not at this time. I am considering taking deposits for a waiting list; however, I haven’t done that yet.

First come/first serve: Yes. If no deposits or waiting list accept a kitten, it will be on a first come/first serve basis then.

Deposit: Non-refundable deposit once a kitten has been picked.

Breeding rights: Yes. Will consider on a limited basis for someone who understands the pros and cons of breeding and who I feel is or would make a great breeder.

Registration included: Yes, upon proof of spay or neuter

Parent health check: Yes; Optimal Selection will be run on all adult kittens. Not completed yet but working on that.

Pedigreed parents: Yes, available upon request

Champion lines: Not at the moment, except on the pure Persian side. Working on showing to obtain championship status.

Vaccinations: Yes, at least the first set of vaccinations

Health guarantee: Yes, one year genetic guarantee. Must sign contract of such

Vet check before going home: Yes

Microchip: Upon request

Altering (spay/neuter): Not currently. Working on finding a vet who will consider spay and neuter at the age they are to go home. So far, no vet around us will do the surgery on such small kittens.

Shipping: Not at this time. Will do pet nanny or courier. Will consider shipping in the future.
